Review: Make-up Goodies!!

Hello bloggerettos!

Reccently I have had tons of make-up appearing all over the shop, things that I have been sent to review so I decided today is the day!
Here are the products:

  • Almay Clear complexion foundation in neutral 220
  • An all over face brush from Royal Cosmetic Connections
  • Nivea Pure and Natural colours Pressed Powder in Sand 04
  • And a Yardley London Pressed powder in Apricot 05

The Almay Clear Complexion Foundation:
So far I am in love with this foundation, It is very light on the skin and I would give the coverage a seven out of ten. However, This is thier lightest colour and I am very pale so this colour does have quite an orange undertone on me. For durability i would give it an eight out of ten as it can crease throughout the day especially around the eyes and the mouth (Where I expected) It says that it has blemish heal technology which isn't a lie however I wouldn't say it was a life-changing difference. Another thing I love is the lots of Information on the back of the bottle, although it did take me untill the 5th day of having this product that if you pulled back the paper at the back there was more information, so my advice would be a bigger arrow as people with bad sight would more than likley not notice this. My main problem with this product is the packaging which is glass and a pour-out dispencer but overall I would give this product a seven point five out of ten!

This is the foundation in the colour neutral (220)

This is the look of it on my very pale hand

The Royal Cosmetics Connections All Over Face Brush:
Love! Love! Love! This brush is super soft, fluffy and MASSIVE which I love. It has a 10cm handle and the bristles are 4cm. I have two minor problems with this brush however.
  1. The bristles are black. Now this sounds stupid but I prefer brushes with a light-coloured top as it makes them easier for cleaning.
  2. I don't feel this brush will be super long-lasting as the bristles seem to fall out willy-nilly, not enough to be extremly noticible but enough. Overall I would give this brush a nine out of ten!
 How very tall
The soft bristles!
The Nivea Pure & Natural Colours Pressed powder:
My first Impressions are very nice with decent coverage but as of yet I am not 'loving' it. I feel that my expectations when I first saw the product was high and it slightly let me down. It finishes Mat and Natural but in certain light exposures can look very sparkly and shiny which is not what I want nor expected. It is dermatogically approved which is a big plus but it doesn't really jump off the shelves at me. I don't think I will be running out to get this anytime soon. Overall rating? Probably a five out of ten.
 Nivea....
 Sand (04)
What a pretty pattern

And the last thing I was sent was the Yardley London Pressed powder. LOVE doesn't even describe how much I love it. It is light on the skin, applys mat, sets other make-up beautifully and looks very glowy and summery. I think that this will be a big summer product. It reminds me of a stronger (colour) version of the Rimmel Stay Matte powder. I love the packiging and the product. This will definatley be a repurchase. Ten out of ten. Thats it for this (not so) small review Look out for a makeup haul soon!
 LOVE this packaging!
 Looks so new....
Fab photography skills...

See you soon Emamama xoxo
